With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William R. Schenck of McCook, Nebraska, born in Grand Island, Nebraska, who passed away on January 15, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Manley Noble and Elsie Harriet Schenck (Reed); his wife Mary Schenck (Hoatson); his daughter Karen Hiatt; his granddaughter Amber Husted (Hiatt); his great grandchild Lucia Wacker; and his siblings, Mary Ann Benaka, Marjorie Roy and Dr. John Schenck.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Schenck (Leah) of Omaha, NE, Monica Wacker (Mark) of McCook, Barbara Schenck of North Platte and Elaine Polly (Jeff) of McCook; and his son-in-law Dennis Hiatt of McCook. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren; and a host of extended family members and friends.
