We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2023, at the age of 6, Stella Rose McConnell of McCook, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her great-grandparents, Ben, Rose Desmond, Merlin, Lola Diederich, Ed Fahnholz and Stephen McConnell.

She is survived by: her parents, Evan McConnell and Brandi McConnell (Diederich); her great-uncles, Dave Diederich and Dale Fahnholz; her great-aunt Ardis Kaus; her sister Nora of McCook; her grandparents, Steve, Marilyn Diederich of Oberlin, Debbon, Eldon Shields of Chadron, Neb., David McConnell of Columbus, Neb. and John Barrett of Traer; her great-grandparent Kay McConnell of McCook; her uncles, Spring (Kerry Louderback), Ryan (Arlie Diederich), Colt (Erika Diederich) and Coltan (Shelby McConnell); her cousins, Gemma, Knox Louderback of Oberlin, Augustus, Patton Diederich of Randolph, Dexton, Chett, Charley, Crosby Diederich of Ludell and Elliott McConnell of McCook; and also Carol. She is also survived by great aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family of Stella McConnell for a memorial to be designated at a later date.
