He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry J. Smith and Margaret I. Smith (Wilkinson); his grandparents, Jesse and Mary Wilkinson (Grobe); his parents-in-law, Stanley Cox and Rochelle Cox (Girard); his niece Cassandra Cox; and his nephew Matthew Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Ernestine; his son Adam Smith of McCook; his brother Richard Smith of Ansley, NE; and his brothers-in-law, Cloyd Cox (Lea) of McCook, NE and Kevin Cox (Pamela) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.
