He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cloyd Franklin and Lola Hoyt (Burke); his daughters, Martina "Marty", Edith "Edie" and Roberta "Berta"; his wife Libby Hoyt of McCook; his daughters, Marty Hoyt of Seattle, WA and Jessica (David Miller) of McCook; and his siblings, William "Bill" Hoyt (Barbara) of McCook, Loree Neiman of Round Rock, TX and Beverly (Robert Brown) of Thayer, IA. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; his canine companion, "Buud"; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Memorials may be given in his name to the Salvation Army.
