We bid farewell to Rick O. Sundell (McCook, Nebraska), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 18, 2025 at the age of 59. Rick touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Dean and Dorothy (Dot); his brother Bob Sundell; and his cousins, Chuck Ferrin and Jeff White.
He is survived by: his former wife Suzette Hart; his wife Shelly Sundell of Benkelman, NE; his children, Alec Sundell of Lincoln, NE, Crystal West (Eric Chalupa) of McCook, NE and Derrick Sundell of McCook, NE; his siblings, Don Sundell (Jody) of Herman, NE and Sheri Thomas (Craig) of Blair, NE; and his grandson Thedrick Harpman.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carpenter Breland Funeral Home (305 W C St, McCook, NE 69001).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are in Rick's name to the family to be designated at a later date, C/O of Carpenter-Breland, PO box 476, McCook, NE.
