With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard Karr of McCook, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 1, 2025 at the age of 85. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Karr to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsworth Karr and Hazel Karr Day; and his brother Elsworth Karr. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Phillips; his children, Darrin (Jeri Lynn) of McCook, Michael (Angie) of McCook and Sandra Karr of McCook; his grandchildren, Alyssa Titus (Jacob), Emily Lytle (Tanner) and Tyson Karr (Kacee); his great grandchildren, Roman Lytle and Boone Karr; and his siblings, Marilyn Nelson (Richard) of North Platte and Dennis Karr (Paula) of Mesa, AZ.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the hospice organizations: Brookestone Home Health & Hospice in North Platte or Community Hospital Health Foundation for Hospice in McCook.
