It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Owen Eugene Beneda of McCook, Nebraska, born in Oberlin, Kansas, who passed away on January 24, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Beneda and Sarah Jane Beneda (Kennedy); his brother-in-law Larry Wood; and his niece Penney Wood. He is survived by: his wife Lois Jane Beneda of McCook; and his sister Mary Ann Wood of McCook. He is also survived by cousins and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the First Assembly of God Church in McCook or to a charity of the donor's choice.
