She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Mitchem and Viretta Mitchem; her husband Silas Brown; her daughter-in-law Connie Brown; and her siblings, Gale Mitchem, Vernon Mitchem, Robert Mitchem, Glenn Mitchem, Dale Mitchem, Harry Desmond, Sylvia Rogers, Eva Foster, Elva Drake and Vivian Mitchem.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Rick Brown of Oberlin, KS, Wanda Mockry (Randy) of McCook and Mike Brown of McCook; and her nieces, Sandy Bolejack and Erma. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
