He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Engler and Lola I Engler (Beals); and his siblings, Richard Engler (Mary Lou), Kim Summers (Harry), Marilyn Becker (Leon) and Sherry Will.
He is survived by: his wife Ardis L. Engler (Nelson) of McCook, NE; his daughter Deb Moorhous (Jeff) of McCook, NE; his brother-in-law Bill Will; his granddaughters, Tiffany Magee (Kirk) of Culbertson, NE and Jennifer Tucker of McCook, NE; his great grandchildren, Kaylee, Sean, Chloe and Bree Manley; and his great great grandchildren, DeVonte and DeAnthony Lee. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carpenter Breland Funeral Home (305 W C St, McCook, NE 69001). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evangelical Free Church (305 W C St, McCook, NE 69001). The military honors was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to McCook Home Health and Hospice, 301 East H Street, McCook, NE 69001.
