He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Rich and Louise Rich (Samuelson); his in-laws, Gary and Dorothy Eckhardt; his daughter Kimberly Allen; and his brother Dr. Royal Rich (Jeraldine "Jeri").
He is survived by: his wife Janet Rich (Eckhardt); his daughter Stacy Marra (Marc) of Phoenix, AZ; and his brother Harry Rich (Liana) of McCook. He is also survived by four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and nine nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his name to the Memorial Methodist Church.
