It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Suzette Steinke (McCook, Nebraska), born in Palisade, Nebraska, who passed away on February 9, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel B. Spencer and Lavonna Spencer (Henze); and her parents-in-law, John and Ruby Steinke. She is survived by: her husband James E. Steinke of McCook; her daughters, Jennifer Pietrzak (C. J.) of Hartsville and Keri Waddle (Clayton) of Gibbon, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Kyler J. Gartner of Houston, Braden Robinson of Allendale, Jaxson Pietrzak of Hartsville, Savannah Pietrzak of Hartsville and Ezri Waddle of Gibbon; her brother Craig Spencer of McCook; and her brother-in-law John Steinke (Kay) of Des Moines. She is also survived by her husband, children and grandchildren, camping with friends.

Memorial donations in memory of Karen may be made to the family and designated at a later time.
