He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice Burns (Betty) and Tommy Burns. He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his children, April Burns-Archer (Jerry) of Greeneville Tennessee, Tom Burns (Regina Burns) of McCook and Robin Burns of Greeneville Tennessee; his stepchildren, Rusty (Penny Minard) of Bartley Nebraska, Shelly Sundell (Rick Sundell) of Benkleman and David Minard (Lena Reynolds) of Indianola, Nebraska.; and his siblings, Pat Burns (Vera Hansen) of McCook Nebraska, Cheryl Hamrick (Joe) of McCook Nebraska and Bob Burns (Geri Burns) of McCook Nebraska.
