Jeffrey Morthole Obituary
We bid farewell to Jeffrey Morthole (McCook, Nebraska), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 18, 2025 at the age of 71. Jeffrey touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle H. Morthole and Barbara Jean Morthole (Rhoades); his brother Steve Morthole; and his pet Jager. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis V. Willoughby of Hayes Center, NE; his children, Jeffrey Morthole Jr. (Simone) of Thorton, CO, Cassey Willoughby (Scott) of Arvada, CO, Tasha Hill of Aurora, CO and Constance Willoughby of Arvada, CO; and his sisters, Shauna Morthole of Denver, CO and Michelle Dunn (Garrett) of Denver, CO. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home (305 W C St, McCook, NE 69001). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort McPherson National Cemetery (12004 S Spur 56a, Maxwell, NE 69151). A burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
