He is survived by: his spouse Peggy Deterding; his children, Wes Dodge (Nancy), June Porter (Todd), Shel Prince and Mary Austin (Kim); and his stepdaughter Janet Moore (Harvin).
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made to fight childhood cancer through Angles Among Us or Pediatric Cancer Action Network.
