It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ivan Schmid (McCook, Nebraska), who passed away on January 14, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Schmid and Lena Schmid (Fickenscher); his sister Iona Dunn; and his siblings-in-law, Jack Rogers and June Schmid.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Schmid; his children, Deborah Weber (Keith) of Graham, WA, Cathy Schmid of Lincoln, NE and Donald Schmid of Chadron, NE; his siblings, Wayne Schmid and Rowena Padgett; and his brother-in-law Rodney Rogers. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
