He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin P. Widener and Hilda I. Widener (Bentley); and his brother Monte Widener. He is survived by: his wife Judith Widener (Louden) of McCook; his children, Brian Pirnie (Angie) of Fremont, NE, Dennis Widener (Sandi) of North Platte, NE, Doug Pirnie (Lacey) of Hot Springs, SD, Margot Gibson (Brian) of Meza, AZ, Mel Widener (Lori) of Kimball, NE and Shay Davis (Shannon) of Wadell, AZ; and his sister Kay Lauderbaugh (John) of Dallas, TX.
