With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geneva E Eckhardt of McCook, Nebraska, born in Sioux Center, Iowa, who passed away on March 22, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Roy and Gertrude Bartels (Horstman); her husband John Eckhardt; and her brothers, Gerald Bartels (Mary), Howard Bartels (Betty) and Robert "Bob" Jensen.
She is survived by: her children, Debra (Ron Axtell) of North Platte and John D. (Misty Eckhardt) of Minden; her grandchildren, Christopher Axtell (Amy), Heather Axtell (Bill), Jessika Botruff (Chris), Kati Osterbuhr (Josh) and Jakob Eckhardt; and her sisters, Wilma Stocks of Orange, CA and Carol Masten (Bill) of Grand Rapids, MI.. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren.
