As we bid adieu to Evelyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Evelyn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Reiners and Caroline Reiners; and her siblings, James Reiners and Norma Jean Klein. She is survived by: her sisters, Carolyn Keith (Pete) of Penokee, KS and Sandra Haskins (Mike) of Lawson, MO; and her siblings-in-law, Wendy Reiners of Indianola, NE and Don Klein of McCook, NE. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carpenter-Breland Funeral Home (305 W C St, McCook, NE 69001). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church-Ash Creek (39097 Rd 712, McCook, NE 69001). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
