He was predeceased by: his parents, Noah Dunavan and Elsie Ellen Johnson (Binkley); his wife Betty Johnson; his children, Mildred Foster, Eugene Johnson, Jr. (Zeke) and Paul Johnson (Pete) of Phoenix, AZ; his stepchildren, Dick Kerns (Lorri) and Diane Purvis (Gene) of McCook; and his sister Nola Mae Golden of Sargent Bluff, IA.
