He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Balius and Elnora Helen Balius (Lans); his wife Marieta Balius (Albrecht); and his son-in-law Harry A. Strunk. He is survived by: his children, Terry Balius (Cherre) of Hayes Center, NE, Ann Barger (Steve) of McCook and Patricia Strunk of Key Largo, FL; his parents-in-law, Robert Albrecht, Darlene Albrecht of North Platte, Berniece Corey (Fred) of Pinetop, AZ and Don Shull of Colby, KS; and his grandchildren, Stephanie Roth (Casey), Chelsie Slattery (Mike), Shane Barger (Kelli), Todger Strunk (Christina) and Tanner Strunk (Elizabeth). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
