With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Sawyer of McCook, Nebraska, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on January 4, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lorence E. Sawyer and Dorothy Sawyer (Offner); and his brothers, Gary Sawyer and Rod Sawyer (Andrea). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Sawyer (Simants) of McCook; his daughter Carmen Bond (Joe) of McCook; his niece Susan Henry; and his brothers-in-law, Butch Simants (Doris) of North Platte, NE and Sonny Simants (Mary) of North Platte, NE. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and extended family.
