It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald E Abbey of McCook, Nebraska, born in Hawarden, Iowa, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dale Abbey and Edna Abbey (Stief); his siblings, Orland Abbey (Darlene), Carol Faulhaber (Don) and Arlene Kratochvil (Mac); and his son-in-law Dan Wallen.
He is survived by: his wife Delores M. Skogman of McCook, NE; his children, Randy Abbey (Debra) of Keller, TX, Kathy Wallen of McCook, NE and Kent Abbey (Susan) of St. Joseph, MO; and his grandchildren, Kelli Saul of Orlando, FL, Brett Wallen of Kearney, NE, Sean Abbey of Kansas City, MO, Jennifer Abbey (Viet Pham) of Evergreen, CO and Chelsee Berryman (Bryce) of Wichita Falls, TX. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
