We are sad to announce that on November 19, 2022, at the age of 71, Derek Brent Sheffer of McCook, Nebraska, born in Phillipsburg, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Winton Lott and Peggy Jeanne Sheffer (Stice); his sister Cella Gregg; his brother-in-law Homer Schoeller; and his parents-in-law, Jakie and Beverly Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Paula Suzanne Schmidt of McCook; his children, Darin Sheffer of Ellsworth, KS, Joey Ciarla of Fort Collins, CO, Patty Tidyman (Jeff) of McCook, NE and Janae Gorman (Ryan) of Edmond, OK; and his sister Karla Schoeller of Halstead, KS.
