Dawn Johnson Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2024, at the age of 88, Dawn Johnson of McCook, Nebraska passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dawn Johnson to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Clay and Avis Clay (Headley); her husband Clyde Johnson; her granddaughter Kara Dawn Johnson Haller; and her siblings, James, Pat, Roger, Anita and Sandra.

She is survived by: her son Barry Johnson (Faye) of McCook; her grandchildren, Kaleb Johnson of McCook and Kendra Racicky of Kearney; and her siblings, Jean Anderson (Dillard) of North Platte, Liz Baker of Kenosha, WI, Richard Clay of Manhattan, KS and Lawrence Clay of Kennewick, WA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Govier Brothers Mortuary (542 S 9th Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Assembly of God Church (606 3rd Ave, Broken Bow, NE 68822).

Memorials are suggested to the Anselmo/Merna School Foundation.
