With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dan Peterson in McCook, Nebraska, who passed away on December 7, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Peterson and Ethel Peterson (Vaughn); his son Justin Peterson; his parents-in-law, Jerry and Mary Crawford; his brother Jerry Peterson; his brother-in-law Roger Cline; and his nephew Jason Cline.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Peterson; his children, Sean Peterson of Kearney, NE and Candace Peterson (Adam Goudy) of Castle Rock, CO; his grandchildren, Dravyn Peterson-Green (Eden Copus) of Colorado Springs, CO and Maliyah Peterson of Franklin, KY; his siblings, Elizabeth Cline of Grand Island, NE, John (Kate Peterson) of Elwood, NE and Susan (Jerry Brunswick) of McCook; and his siblings-in-law, Tracy Hixon of McCook, Troy (Patty Crawford) of Riverdale, NE, Shelley Crawford (Doug Hartner) of Randolph, NE and Marci (Jess Day) of Amherst, NE.
