He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Cappel and Loretta Cappel; his father-in-law Theodore Einsphar (Susie); his sister Geraldine Palmer; his son Douglas Cappel (DC); his grandson Justin Kraft; and his great grandchild Isiah Cappel.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Cappel; his children, Teresa Hayes (Dallas), Steven Cappel (Kelly), Rodney Cappel, Cheryl Blackwell, Pamela Cappel, William Cappel (Nikki) and Michael Cappel; and his daughter-in-law Terri Cappel. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; five step grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; brother, Richard (Kathie) Cappel and sister.
