It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Christel Lakatosh of McCook, Nebraska, who passed away on November 19, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Paul Weitschies Margarete Mandel; and her husband Andrew Frank Lakatosh. She is survived by: her siblings, Asta Tiβberger of Germany and Weitschies (Ute Weitschies) of Germany; her children, David Andrew Lakatosh of Aurora, CO and Deborah Jean Arp (Gregory Thomas Arp) of McCook, NE; and her grandchildren, Christopher Lee Arp (Korin Arp) of Friend, NE, Colin Tyler Arp of Longmont, CO, Emily Christel Arp and Mark Andrew Arp of McCook. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; five great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many friends.
Memorials are suggested to the McCook Memorial Methodist Church in Christel's memory.
