He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Freehling and Gladys Freehling (Douthit); and his brother Paul Freehling, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Susan Freehling; his children, Lara Stewart (Kevin), Tara Fanning (Jasper) of Ogallala, NE and Darin Freehling (Tonya Hoelting) of Hershey, NE; his grandchildren, Brooke Stewart, Jaden and Jacob Fanning; and his sister-in-law Nancy Freehling. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
