It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ann Hixson of McCook, Nebraska, born in Wauneta, Nebraska, who passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene W. Jones and Anna E. Jones (Hixon); her daughter Catherin Myers; her grandson Angus Myers; her brothers, William E. Jones and James R. Jones; and her sister-in-law Nancy Jones.
She is survived by: her husband Harry E. Hixson of McCook; her daughters, Debra K. Maris (Gerald) of Culbertson, Nebraska, Peggy J. Savage of Omaha, Nebraska and Linda L. Koetter of McCook; and her son-in-law Arden Myers of McCook. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
