He is survived by: his wife Ruth Karen Janisch; his children, Steven Rothmeyer (Sherri) of McCook, Judy Haverland (Joe) of Perham, MN, Deborah Rice (James) of Wappapello and Jacquelyn Rothmeyer of Albuquerque, NM; his siblings, Dolores Lawson of Hays Center, NE., Anne Jones of Grand Island, NE., Wayne Rothmeyer (Judy) of Las Vegas, NV. and Larry Rothmeyer (Sandra) of Leavenworth, KS.; and his sister-in-law Connie Rothmeyer of Olive Branch, MS.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
