We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2018, at the age of 95, Alma Mae (McCook, Nebraska), born in Holyoke, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hanke and Alma Hanke; her husband Jim Short; and her siblings, Virginia Fisher, William Jr., Kenneth Hanke and Vernon Hanke.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Salyer (Lynn) of Kearney and Donna Short of Kearney; her grandchildren, David Salyer (Dawn), Laila, Ronan, Esmae of Kearney, Justin Salyer of Central City, Moriah Bartram (Colter), Angelo and Dorian of Lincoln; and her sister Wilda Willis (Marvin) of Amarillo, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
