With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donna Jean Schledewitz of Maxwell, Nebraska, born in Osage, Iowa, who passed away on August 24, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. Smidt and Reka G. Smidt (Benker); her in-laws, John and Mildred Schledewitz; and her daughter Janet Schledewitz.
She is survived by: her significant other John Schledewitz; her children, Jill Falcon (Jim) of Maxwell and Johnny Schledewitz of North Platte; her grandchildren, Jalissa Falcon, Jimmy Falcon (Karsen) and Justin Falcon (Halee); her great grandchildren, Avery, Greah, Boon, Jameson, Jack and Madelyn Koubek; her siblings, Art Smidt (Betty) of Omaha and Sharon Hohlfeldt (Clyde) of Holstein; and her in-laws, JoAnn Rosse of Lincoln and Larry Schledewitz (Sue) of Maxwell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Bridge of Hope, or to Deborah's Legacy.
