She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gerkensmeyer and Norma Gerkensmeyer (Sagehorn); her former husband Glen Doremus; her sisters, Shirley Perkins and Ardith Ficken; and her brothers-in-law, Keith Perkins and Norman Ficken.

She is survived by: her husband Blackledge of Martell; her children, Jodi, Ron of Crete, Paul and Sheri Doremus of Crete; her grandchildren, Daniel, Tracey Connell of Crete, Matthew, Angela Connell of Washington, Shaylen, Colton Keller of Lincoln, Skyler, Darin Effle of Lincoln, Tayler Doremus of Lincoln and Terrah Doremus of Lincoln; and her great grandchildren, Maximus, Zackery, Avery, Elliot, Barrett, Mason, Kashus and Jolene. She is also survived by her step-children and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
