He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Svitak and Dorothy Svitak (Ruge); his wife Mary Belle; his brothers-in-law, Dale King, Dean Sidders, Leroy Rudolph, Leon Neemeyer and Dennis Kracman; and his granddaughter Breanna Rinkol.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Svitak (Patryce) of Wood River, Michael Svitak (Letricia) of Columbus, Kent Svitak of Bridgeport, Vicki Jurgovsky (Michael) of Logan and Karen Svitak of Central City; his sisters, Marcela Rudolph of Central City, Levada Nielson (Dale) of Archer, Norma Neemeyer of Seward and Vera Kracman of Bellewood; and his sisters-in-law, Betty King of Central City and Barbara Sidders of Central City. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials are suggested to the family to be designated at a later date.
