It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Forney of Madrid, Nebraska, born in Aurora, Nebraska, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Forney and Francis Forney (Peak); his brothers, Charles and Edward Forney; and his son Lloyd Forney.
He is survived by: his former wife Dorothy Ann Minerd; his children, Chanel Jennings (Charles) of Madrid, Angel Christian (Justin) and Russell Forney (Johanna) of Casper, WY; and his brothers, Roger Forney and Doug Forney of Madrid. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
