With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gary D. Peterson of Madrid, Nebraska, born in Ogallala, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 19, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Peterson and Ruby Peterson (Woodley); his wife Jerre Lynn; his siblings, Kenneth, Janice and Sharon; and his grandson Marcus Fox.
He is survived by: his children, Janet Hoffert (David) of Fergus Falls and Shelly Donovan (Patrick) of Greeley, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Jessi Hoffert, Montana, Kendra Fox, Ryne Donovan and Kara Ramold (Benjamin); and his brother Marion Jr. Peterson.
