As we bid Eugene I. farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Eugene I. is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alta Violet Trine (Chittenden) and Sterling Morton Trine; and his brothers, Stuart, Keith and James.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sunderman; and his children, Steven (Linda) of Keller, TX, Denise of Madison and Sheila Bloom (Paul) of Tonganoxie, KS. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (506 S Main St, Madison, NE 68748). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
