He was predeceased by: his parents, Evert Dawson and Elayne Castillo (Carr); and his grandparents, George H. R. and Josephine Carr (Dillon). He is survived by: his wife Margo Ann; his children, Lynn Dawson Miller of Madison, Grant Darrell and Sarah Amber Dawson of Omaha; his granddaughter Abigail Lynn Miller of Columbia, Missouri; and his sister Beverly Ann Medeiros of Bullhead City, Arizona.
