McCabe of Lyons, Nebraska, born in Hawarden, Iowa, who passed away on April 9, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Carpenter and Bernice Carpenter (Richmond); her husband Donald McCabe Jr.; and her children, Jason and Denise.

She is survived by: her siblings, Leota Carpenter Swanson (James), Eugene Carpenter (Delores) and Leland Carpenter (Helena). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
