He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hightree and Gladys Hightree (Rouse); his son Eugene; his siblings, Dorothy Elliot and Ralph Hightree, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Beulah Hightree, Sharon Hightree, Dwight Long and Ray Elliot; and his niece Pamela Hightree.
He is survived by: his former wife Delores Berryman; his nephew Martin Long; his children, Lynette Carder (Don) and James Hightree (Diana); and his siblings, Iona Long of Lyons and F. Don Hightree (Lorraine) of Pilger, NE. He is also survived by grandchildren; great grandchildren; and several niece and nephews.
