She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Smith and Loretta Smith (Snyder); her brothers, Joel and Bill Smith; and her parents-in-law, Phyllis "Rusty" Mecklem and David Mecklem.
She is survived by: her husband David Mecklem; her daughters, Erin Sturdivant (Eric) of Palmer and Libby Henning (Blake) of Valley, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Tate, Tylynn Sturdivant, Wesley and Kade Henning; her brother Dale Smith (Sheri); and her siblings-in-law, Sylvia Smith, Linda Smith, Coyne Quinn and Curt Mecklem (Karen). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers or donations, the family requests family and friends spend time with those they love.
