It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wayne C. Sass of Loup City, Nebraska, born in Bennington, Nebraska, who passed away on July 28, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Sass and Bertha Sass (Busekist); his brothers, Don and Dale Sass; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Elmen (Rita) and Jim Elmen.
He is survived by: his wife Betty of Holdrege; his children, Roger Sass (Susan) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Laurie Hill (Tim) of Holdrege and Amy Dennis (Pat) of Edmond, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, Paul, Hillary, Sara, Dillon, Jack, Jeffrey and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Lennon, Hayes, Collins, Sutton, Clara, Brooks and Audrey; his sister Elaine Klabunde (Erwin) of Elkhorn, Nebraska; and his sister-in-law Eloise Elmen of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Wayne's honor, and kindly suggested to the Phelps County Senior Center or the Nebraska Prairie Museum.
