He is survived by: his wife Suzan Couton of Loup City; his children, Jennifer Stanczyk (Randy) of Oshkosh, NE, Timothy Obermiller (Asia) of Loup City and Lucas Obermiller (Emily) of Loup City, NE.; his grandchildren, Peyton, Chesney, Ridglyn Stanczyk, Hudson, Turner, Jaxon Obermiller, Sawyer and Baby Boy Obermiller; his siblings, James Obermiller (Linda) of Loup City, NE, John Obermiller (Diane) of Loup City, NE, Connie Shafer (Roland) of Ord, NE, Karen Shapley of Kearney, NE, Marcia Kauk of St. Paul, NE, Cheryl Albright (Kenny) of Ravenna, NE and Joanie Schneider of Lincoln, NE.; and his siblings-in-law, Richard Couton of Crocker, MO, Michael Couton of Durham, NC and Joann Couton of Wahoo, NE..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the St. Josaphat's Catholic Church (704 N 9th St, Loup City, NE 68853). A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the Loup City Fire Department or the Ralph Obermiller Scholarship Fund through the Sherman County Foundation.
