He was predeceased by: his parents, John Russel (Russ) and La Donna Ericson (Peterson); his stepfather Andy McMurtry; his sister Linda Ansbach; his father-in-law Jerome Sekutera; and his brother-in-law Roger Vermaas.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy (Cindy) of Loup City; his children, Courtney Baker (Larry) of Crofton, NE and Justin Ericson (Ashley) of Encino, CA.; his grandchildren, Macy, Bode Baker and Heston Ericson; his siblings, Laura Hurlburt (Ron) of Arcadia, NE, Marti Vermaas of Loup City, NE and Jim Ericson of Loup City, NE; and his mother-in-law Norma Nun (Mel) of Loup City, NE. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Loup City Volunteer Fire Department, the Loup City-Ashton-Rockville Cooperative Ambulance Squad, and the Sherman County Community Foundation.
