It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Root Sr. of Loup City, Nebraska, born in Arnold, Nebraska, who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Root and Goldie Root (Oxford); his son Gary Root; his granddaughter Trinity Bogart; and his siblings, William Root (Bill) and Darlene Bivens.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Mae Tondreau of Loup City, NE; his children, Edward Root (Marijo) of Siloam Springs, AR, Robert Root (Debbie) of Lincoln, NE, Donald Root of Grand Island, NE, Barbara Fieldgrove (Calvin) of Loup City, NE, Mary Bogart (Jeremy) of Sedalia, MO and Allen Root (Jennifer) of Lincoln, NE; and his brothers, Jim of Omaha, NE. and David Root of Omaha, NE.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.
