It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Jean Nessen of Louisville, Nebraska, born in Herlong, California, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Merlin Edward and Thelma Maxine Baker (Miller); her husband William Nessen; and her sister-in-law Kathryn Meyer. She is survived by: her daughter Nicolle Woeste (Scott) of Louisville; her grandchildren, Jordyn Carrera (Ben) and Joeie Gaebel; her stepchild Trev Nessen (Amy) of Pagosa Springs, CO; her stepgrandchildren, Mackenzie Nessen and Macayla Schlechty (Matt); her stepchildren, Raymond Wade Nessen of Phoenix, AZ and Cara Arnott (Andy) of Phoenix, AZ; her stepgrandson Nicholas McKinney; and her siblings, Norman Baker (Susie) of Atascadero, CA, Cheryl Kupke (Marvin) of Louisville, NE, Gary Baker (Carolyn) of Peru, NE, Pam Chubb (Larry) of Plattsmouth, NE, Ken Baker (Judy) of Idaho City, ID and Jane Herrington (Mitch) of Council Bluffs, IA.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
