He was predeceased by: his parents, George Meyer and Pearl Meyer (Jardine); his wife Peggy Lou Stratton; his son Johnny Meyer; and his siblings, Lila Bickford, Betty Lou Smith, Arlene Cook, Lucille Fleming, Isabelle Lindsey, Donald Meyer, Linville Meyer, Leon Meyer, Kenny Meyer and Larry Meyer.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Schmitt (Tim) of Murdock, NE and Chuck Meyer (Barb) of Louisville, NE.; his grandchildren, Courtney Bassinger (Tristan), Rob Meyer (Laura), Katie Parks (Nathan) and Christine Grimo (Jon); and his siblings, Mag Keckler of Weeping Water, NE, Orville Meyer of Lincoln, NE and Arvin Meyer of Louisville, NE.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
