He is survived by: his wife LaVona Evans of Louisville; his sons, Douglas Evans (Tanja) of Papillion, Kevin Evans of Louisville and Brian Evans of Plattsmouth; his grandson Cole Evans of Plattsmouth; and his stepgrandson Ben Kephart.
