It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ernest Gruber of Louisville, Nebraska, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gruber and Maude Gruber (Miller); his wife Arlene Gruber (Gartner); his siblings, Robert, John Gruber (Jiggs) and Pauline Fredrickson; and his siblings-in-law, Robert Fredrickson (Dick), Ralph, Randall, Alton Gartner (Hantz), Viola Gartner, Averil Gartner and Lorene Gruber.

He is survived by: his sons, Terry Gruber (Jackie) of Loveland, CO, Rick Gruber (Marlene) of Louisville, NE and Randy Gruber (Gina) of Kansas City, KS.; his grandchildren, Travis Gruber, Rancho, Caleb Gruber of Denver, CO, Sheri Meredith (Shane) of Omaha, NE and Nick Gruber (Tammy Palmer); his great grandchildren, Alex, Victoria Gruber, Rancho, Adeline, Isaac Meredith, Prestin Palmer, Payton and Paisley Gruber; and his sister-in-law Mary Gartner of Syracuse, NE.

Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church or the VFW.
