It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin M Scholting of Louisville, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin L. Scholting and Betty Scholting (Hinkle). He is survived by: his wife Kim Scholting; his children, Andi Emmons (Jason), Brett Scholting (Jamie), Kelsie Stewart (Aaron), Megan (Lane Haller) and Mirissa Scholting; his grandchildren, Landon, Karsyn Emmons, Taylor Dirkx (James), Caden Neumann, Quinn, Emmy, Carter, Addy Scholting, Josslynn, Tyson and Reagan Stewart; his great grandchild Hadley Dirkx; his brothers, Merlin Scholting (Sheila), Mark Scholting (Kim) and Jeff Scholting (Barb); his mother-in-law Blanche Hopp; and his brother-in-law David Hopp. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
